We founded this company on a simple idea: for each Argan Oil and Oil Control Day Cream we sell, we will donate $1.00 to Bright Pink®. We also donate 5% to provide free mammograms to at risk women.
We have all had numerous family and friends affected by this tragic disease and it is our ultimate goal to do our part to lobby for a cure in our time.
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. The incidence of breast cancer rises with age and becomes significant by age 50.
It is estimated by the American Cancer Society that in 2009 about 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United States. At this time there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
In 2009, ACS estimates that about 40,170 women will die from breast cancer in the United States. Even in men, 1,910 new cases are projected in 2009, with 440 deaths.
